Life is plenty possible even in these extreme conditions, just know some tricks. If you need (free ofc) help with some hints, all you have to do is to convo me.
Thank you for that offer, I will take you up on that :)
Noob corp hauler alts for the win :)
Also, since I'm here posting:

Confirming this.

Edited by: Taram Caldar on 07/05/2010 12:59:02 Has it been a year already? TMPI was one of the first IPO's I bought into (and I bought in late). Nice to see it's hit it's anniversary mark :) Nice job Ji! Here's to another year of profitable ventures for your IPO :)

Very sorry to see it go. Ji when you're done with buyback I'd love a share of TMPI just for the memories.
Wherever you go in EVE know you have at least 1 friend who won't backstab ya flying around in a recon or dictor somewhere in the vastness of 0.0.
Fly safe my friend.

I sold all my TMP stock around a year ago. It's possible Ji has just been tied up though. He's always been very reliable about his payouts so I wouldn't be too concerned just yet.

Not being swept under the rug. Just the investors haven't raised a fuss over it for some reason. I got out of TMPI over a year ago now so honestly don't even keep tabs on this thread. I think it's ironic that Ji is scamming after all her high-horsed statements about being anti-scammer, etc. in the past.
Am I surprised? Yeah.... do I care? Honestly... yes.... but since I'm not an investor other than noting that she scammed and making note never to do business with her again? Not a lot I can do about it. The thread is here. Folks have noted she scammed. What more is there to do?

Anyone who runs missions in Motsu to repay a bond is a scammer
Even though you made 10 bil in a month or two and repaid everyone fully doesn't matter. All that matters is you turned into a mission *****.
Yes, I'm being a **** about this. I was just happy to receive my ISK back.
Bottom line: Brock paid back his debt in less time than it's taken Ji to bother responding to his forum thread. HOW he paid back the debt is irrelevant. Ji tried to call Brock a scammer yet Ji is the one who hasn't paid up.
I like Ji, don't get me wrong. But at this point Ji is, de facto, scamming. What makes it worse is that Ji has for so long gone off on people and called them scammers or tried to go on a high horse about scamming and yet now is doing it herself.

Originally by: Dhar Mok a Scam implies begging, borrowing or otherwise obtaining other people's money with the stated intent to pay it back upon completion of your venture and then *not* paying the money back.
I am sorry sir, but you are sadly errant. What you are defining here is "failure", the failure to pay back money that was promised. A "scam" though is just that subcategory of "failures" that involved ill intent, either from the start or along the way. Ill intent understood as lying about the use of the money or the intent of use of the money at some point in the history of the venture.
I would tend to dissagree. I think this is exactly and clearly a scam at this point. Ji agreed to pay back their investors (I'm not one anymore so I'm fairly neutral on this) X isk at the completion of their business.
Ji then conducted business, as far as we know, in good faith. All was well.
Ji then had bad things(tm) happen to him in game which caused him to become jaded and upset. (stuff happens, tough. I have no sympathy. If one is going to conduct business on MD, as we have ALL said in the past, one has to have the intestinal fortitude to deal with "bad things").
Ji then stated that he was going to close their business down and repay investors. 2.5 months later, no further communication, character HAS been in game, no repayment of debt. Thus the statement is a *lie* as to what is going to be done with the money. You cannot ASSUME there is no ill intent here. Ji owes people money. Ji SAID that money would be paid back 3 months ago. That money is not paid back thus ill intent HAS to be assumed since we are led to believe that Ji DOES have the money AND has had the opportunity to pay it back.
I tend to agree with the others. Until Ji proves otherwise by repaying the debt this has to be classified as a scam, not a simple failure. Had it been a 'failure' Ji would have stated that the money was not there to repay investors 3 months ago. He didn't. He said he had the money AND would pay it back. He has NOT paid it back thus he was lying. Thus this is a scam until proven otherwise.
I find it ironic that you stand up to defend this. If this weren't Ji you'd be screaming scam to the heavens long before now. I think we've all given Ji quite enough leg room on this one. 3 months is plenty of time to have paid this off.
